Axe & Kindle kiln-dries all of its hickory firewood. This means we remove moisture by using a super-sized kiln and fan to heat and dry the logs all at once. The controlled environment within the kiln makes it possible to get the wood below 20% moisture every time. Your fire will light easier and burn longer, brighter and with less smoke than a fire using seasoned wood.
